1. I'm still in one piece
2. Kuwait and Iraq are still dusty
3. Nothing like the smell of burning petrochemicals and trash in the morning
Seriously, things are much better than my last visit ('03-'04) here. We have a great dining facility run by a contractor and Army cooks, I sleep in a room in a converted 40' container that has its own A/C and heat, and I work in an office inside a huge bunker. Other than the rockets and mortars that the locals send to us from time to time, it isn't bad.
The heat hasn't started up yet, but it soon will. We are expected 120-130 (F) temps during the summer months, but right now is actually pretty cold and wet, as its the rainy season here.
My internet is so slow, its laughable, but at least I have it but I doubt it will handle me being able to play NWN.
Anyway, take care all. Give Redda a hug when you see her!

PS, anybody need some sand......?
