I'm going to go ahead and bring the systems up with the 7/30 backup. I've replaced everything except the platters on the drives and they still keep failing. I think we can recover from that. The only bad thing is that I don't seem to have a current backup of the internal websites. I'm not sure how out of date the backup I have is.

Sigh.

I'm still sending the drives off to get checked. There is a good company not far from here there has a good track record of pulling data off disks that are in bad shape. They will do a review for free and let me know if they can recover the data. While I'm not going to make everyone wait another week or 2 I really want to see if they can recover the team and player websites. The copy I have is old and out of date and I really do not want to try and see if I can rebuild it from memory.

drive has been shipped out. Should know in 2 to 3 days if they can recover the data and the cost.

Good news I've redesigned the way the data is being backed up and there are now 3 layers of protection so in the future we should be good.
