As you can see by looking at the NuCalendar, I'll be going on vacation soon...it's only for 5 days but I'll be out of town.
now before I go, I'll do the standard reboot of the servers, turn off auto updates so the server doesn't reboot and I'll have a Cleric of Helthor over to bless the network.
Other then that, if it goes down hard, sorry but you'll have to wait.

wait......people still go on vacations?
I thought the Business Owners of America did away with vacation time? Does your boss know you are not going to be at your desk?

nope I'm planning ahead. I'm going to have the backup server running. If the main dies I'll remote in and start the backup. As long as the DB server stays live we are good. And it's a true server that has been up running linux for 75 days without a bump.
