wife just call and told me the power was out. I called the power company and they told be several blocks were out and they had crews on their way out. I'm headed home, They better have it fixed by the time I get there.

okay I've finally proved to the cable company that the problem isn't a line in my home, a splitter or a bad modem. They now agree that the problem is a weak signal from them to me. They are scheduled to come out tomorrow and place a singal amp on the line which is it works should fix the problem for good. Until them the server will go up and down. Sorry about this but what can you do.

Wife just called to tell me the power company is putting in some new lines in my neighborhood...they cut power to my home...should be back up in an hour

Microsoft decided our server needed a reset after an autoupdate.

Shes back up and running now.
