Legion of Nuvar Tournament Date Poll

At the beginning of March there will be a formal IG announcement across all worlds of a tournament held on Arkaz. We have a date in mind set but wish to open up a vote to see the availability everyone has.

Basic rules which are subject to change:
-One Entry Per Player, Period.
-One Vs. One matches before an audience and overseen by a referee.
-Fights will be decided when one participant yields or is rendered incapacitated. Killing an opponent will be grounds for immediate disqualification.
-Use of magic spells/wands/rods/scrolls/psion powers/potions are prohibited at all times during this contest.
-Certain Trinkets and Artifacts will be allowed only after the fight has begun. (Most likely only items that boost attributes and weapon properties)
-A limit on the number of medical items for use during each contest will be invoked.
-A registration fee will be required to participate.
-1st and 2nd place winnings of either a percentage of total collected registration fees or rare donated item.
-If there are enough participants to do so, we may split the contest into groups based on their levels and other factors.

We realize there are several restricting factors in place that limit certain character types, and one of the many reasons this is being OOC announced early. When voting, if we could please ask that you send a PM to myself and Tremayne7 with the character you believe you'd like to participate with and the classes they are likely to have by the weekend of April 15th.

While mage type characters are not prohibited from entering, please keep in mind the focus of this tournament is natural martial ability. Therefore there may be several limitations in place that would likely deny them a fair chance given there usual fighting methods.

As it stands this tournament is not a contest of power builds, more of a gentlemen contest just to showcase martial classes. This of course may change depending on overall interest shown.

I'm hoping to also have other things to do too. Like other contests or perhaps even merchants who still fun, yet silly items.

We'd like for as many folks to participate as can and this is open to all of Arkaz.

You may want to add psionics and scrolls to the prohibited list.
