I've still got nothing. I can still get onto Hala/Avlis no problems. I don't know how to give you a traceroute, sorry.

The problem is also that we cannot port from Hala to Arkaz either. For us it says the server is timed out from Gamespy and none of the Arkaz servers (Islands, Iron, Toloria) show up at all. It's like the server doesn't exist for us. I tried again this morning and no luck. Still no Arkaz on the list.

Ah, well.... guess we'll have to try to dig more with Verizon.

All 3 are in my gamespy list.

To do a traceroute in Windows go to Start -> Run -> type in "cmd" without the quotes. That will take to a DOS prompt.
Type in "tracert server.arkaz.com" without the quotes and then copy and paste the output here.

Don't suppose anyone knows how to do it on a Mac? I run on a PowerPC Mac. Greg can run it on his Mac as well as Windows.

Applications/ Utilities/ Network Utility/ Traceroute has it's own tab in there :)

Mac OSX at least does, I assume that is what you run.

FYI: By Market cap, Apple is now larger than Microsoft.

Seriously though. I'll try a traceroute when I get home if things are still messed up. Thanks for the input!

All this aside. I was able to log into Arkaz normally when I got home. I see by this trace that our IP address has changed from a .96 to a .71. The Verizon rep I spoke to said the .96 addresses had problems sometimes with games blocking them. Hopefully we'll be ok from now on.

Well, I can see you both follow the exact same path starting with hop #2. One of you seems fixed. Is the other fixed also?
