<_< Hey, I remember this thread! This is where I was supposed to be scanning and posting all the crap I draw.

Again, I have much, much more than these, but I still don't really know how to draw anyone else's character, and it seems... presumptuous to just attach appearances to them that their player may not have intended? I've got doodles of Tira, Ronan, Adonis, Zach, Vincent, and Eilshe for sure, but haven't been particularly happy with how any of them have turned out yet. :/

I think this was a "she probably looked like this when she first got to Arkaz" thing. Designing outfits around what's possible with IG tailors is tough.


Similarly, I guess it's a before and after type thing lol. I need to get better reference of the front of the mage school cloak. Also, anatomy won this battle, I'm not really happy with this one but here I am posting it anyway. *fling*

My favourite character ever, from a PnP game. Tried to remake him in Hala, didn't really work. Lexy reminds me of him, just a little.


Another character who got remade on Hala, a bit more successfully. I was too tired drawing this one and got lazy on the feet...


PnP character I really like who would not work on any current copap server. Bard!

I have one sketch I didn't post that I think I'm going to work on cleaning up into a painting. <_< In the meantime, if anyone's got pictures they've done, I'd love to see them!!

I wish I could scan my two favorite pictures of two of my pnp characters. One was a D&D character a male human fighter/thief named Mark Paragon and ther other was a Shadowrun Mage streetnamed Leprechaun. She was a very short elven mage from Tir Na Nog (Ireland). She had red hair and green eyes. My friend who really should be an artist drew them for me.

I am a better writer than an artist.

I drew out part of the scene between her and Eilshe recently, but Tira DOES NOT WEAR A SHIRT and Eilshe always looks funny when I draw him. <_<

Jealous! Great stuff and looks like they were a lot of fun to draw.

I get angry that I don't draw more. I did decent with anime and a couple other styles I tried with the little bit of practice I had, but I am way too impatient with myself. I except to be a mofu'n MASTAH in about 5 minutes of work and if I don't do a good job I get PO'd. Annoying on top of it that I get that frustrated and am incapable of getting over it because I 'have to work hard' to learn it. -_-'

It is a lot of work to learn to draw, and a lot of work to draw well. These are totally lazy ones, I should really be pushing my style towards realism but instead I'm falling back on what's familiar, which is honestly not good as an artist!!

It's our ART101 textbook, it's really great. My dad went through the exercises and went from "stick figures" to "photorealistic charcoal drawings of the family dog."

On an unrelated topic, would anyone like to see dorky Sims 3 screencaps of the few characters I made in there? I could actually offer those up for download, I think, if anyone else has the game and would like some Arkaz characters to mess around with!

Both Zach and Ronan use their Sims 3 characters as their avi's. I don't have Sims 3, just Sims 2. Wanted to do a Hala neighborhood... might do a Hala and Arkaz one.

I had Sims 2 on my laptop, but didn't bother reinstalling to TOAST because Sims 3. I will say though, there's a lot less custom content available right now, so I had trouble getting good likenesses in most cases, since we've got a severe lack of good hairstyles. I JUST got pointy ears, too. Finally.

Anyway, I'll post a few! Basically how I've been playing is that I won't make them do anything they don't want to do already, and I generally help them do whatever they want to do. c: So all this stuff is stuff they did on their own.


Here's my two characters, who will never canonically meet, of course, which makes them together in the Sims about three times as hilarious.


And here is Angry!Ronan, my favourite of them. c: He makes the best faces.


Raven insulted him for being ambitious, if I recall correctly. Raven isn't particularly nice.


These two losers get along fine, though. Also note: Andy's weirdly modelled upskirt-proof skirt.


Oh yes, here's Zach. Totally IC. I love this one, lol.

He wanted to go see a ghost, so I sent him to the graveyard. It turns out he can get a job there, so he did.


He met ~three~ ghosts.


Meanwhile, Raven insulted Andy's appearance, she took it well and went to go read, but Zach came running over to defend her and got in an argument with Raven. While she's in a swimsuit and sunglasses indoors, yes.


I actually don't have many pictures of Raven because she always wants to go on long jogs to far away places, or she's at work.


She did get arrested once though. She very nicely went with the cop, and then sat in jail for a day and made friends with her cellmates.
