Portal Plot

Post by Daemona » Mon Jan 16, 2006 2:31 pm

So far this has been great and I have enjoyed it immensely. The first quest seemed to come up at the spur of the moment about a week ago. It was nice to see it rise from out of nowhere but are the rest going to be scheduled? I would like to see a few more of the islands characters involved and know many of them have mains elsewhere as I am sure the Hala folks do also. Just looking for comments from all sides, and to the team, don't give any clues away, the suspense is some of the best part of these quests.

As with all of the plots here, the portal plot is player driven. How fast things get resolved, and how, is going to be down to some of you guys putting some effort in. We're certainly not going to put everything on a plate for you :P

If you want to advance a plot arrange a time and advertise it a few days in advance. If the DM in charge of that particular plot can make it great :D, if not why not RP anyway? Maybe another DM will show up and take the event off in a completely direction.

Thanks a lot, this answers my questions. I just did not want to rush the team as I realize you are busy with a lot just now. Bugs, new areas and testing. I personally have all the time in the world and am in no hurry whatsoever. I know the weekends are kind of deserted here with what is commited to on other worlds and I am blessed with a lot of free time to play here and on Avlis. Kaz did manage to entertain Xai and Sonja yesterday and it was great.

to be honest, I've been running the event slowly...I keep my eye open for a group of players on and if they are not all busy, I've been advancing the plot.
