History

Brynja travels to the isles from Yasgard on occasion and tends to stay a few days. For the most part she has kept out of local business.

There was some nasty business with involving the church of Xanis as well as an attempted murder charge but that was then and this is now.

Personality

Brynja is quiet and guarded about herself. She is also quite jumpy and is quick to draw her weapons. She tries to be pleasant but is not very comfortable talking with people, especially in groups or with people she doesn’t know. There are a few people that she seems to be close to and on occasion she displays affection towards them. While she tends to remain quiet she does seem to enjoy being around people and often sits alone and just watches what people are doing.

In conversation she is usually straight forward and direct often bluntly honest. She is well spoken and her words are chosen with care. At times she gives the impression that she lacks self confidence. She often gives the impression of being cold and lacking empathy, but at other times she can be quite bright and almost happy. Observant people may notice that she is more confident when she is holding her Kamas. Her hands often absently find their way to them.

She can quickly become nasty and has no qualms with threatening people with violence for what appear to be very minor infractions.

However, all of this drastically and suddenly changed after a large part of her ‘self’ was removed….

Now days conversing with Brynja can be daunting at times as you never quite know what sort of mood she will be in. Most of the time she is friendly and pleasant but at other times she can be quite sullen and dark.

Some times she has difficulty staying on topic or making sense, especially when she is tired or excited, and has a tendency to babble. She is also rather blunt and speaks her mind without reservation, even if she doesn’t seem to know quite what her mind is. Some of her topics of conversation are unsettling.

Brynja can also be quite flirtatious and forward and seems to delight in keeping people just a little off guard and uncomfortable. The phrase ‘personal space’ isn’t in her vocabulary.

She is a woman of extremes and certainly gives the impression that something isn’t quite right in that head of hers.

Combat

Her preference is for fighting with a pair of kama. She is quick and mobile and tends to settle into a fluid fighting style. She fights with grace and confidence and can be beautiful to watch.

She is trained in a wide variety of weapons and enjoys practising with them. Those with an eye for such things can tell that she is obviously well trained and exhibits knowledge of several advanced techniques. She tries to work her opponents into compromising positions and then strike for vulnerable areas.

Appearance

Brynja usually wears a shadowed hood and a mesh top with a long flowing dress. She loves buckles and straps and her arms and boots are covered with them. Often she decorates her left arm with a series of thin metal plates that have bones strapped to them.

Her hair is cropped short and is a little messy. Her dark makeup draws attention to her bright blue eyes. He paints her lips a deep matte black as she doesn’t like the glossy look.

Decorating her body is an intricate full body tattoo comprised of swirls, dots, geometric patterns and a leafy vine that weaves its way through them. While her face is clear it does snake its way up her neck and under her hair line. It is mostly black but has splashes of colour throughout. On the palm of her right hand a tree grows out of the swirls around her wrist and sports red heart shaped leaves. There are minute details all over her tattoo that are only really noticeable if you stare of a while. She is of an average height and has a slim athletic build.
