Calendar Added

I've added an event calendar to the forums. You'll see if at the bottom of the page. This will allow DM's to post events. It'll also allow you to select if you plan to attend or not to help DM's track things better.

If you look at the one I've posted

You'll notice it events lets us display who's invited...if it's a guild event we can even set it so it only shows up to guild members...it's a powerful item.

How to use it

Okay so if you click on the browse forums link you'll see the Calender for the week displayed at the bottom of the page. you can also click this link to see a monthly display

when you see an event scheduled click on it. That will open a new window that will display information regarding he event. It'll also allow you to click on your RSVP choice...either Yes you will be there, No or maybe. The scheduler will see a list of who RSVPed which will help us plan. For now only DMs can post events, I'll probably extend that to guild leaders soon.

If you want to see what event's you've RSVPed to all you do is click on the User Control Panel link above you
You'll see 2 links in the Overview tab. View my events shows you the events you have scheduled and Manage Event Reg shows you what events you've RSVPed to.

It's a simple system and should help a Ton with keeping schedules open and known.

If we know of an event on Hala/Ysgard, may we PM the team so that can be added to the calender so folks can see and plan as well as our team? Again not the guild events, but things like a Spring event or something?

Terry, is the time local to mine? I.e. It says 8:45, is that adjusted according to the time zone I'm in, or is that a specific time zone?

Did you change your settings for daylight savings time? It says 12:45 on mine. :)

it should show time based on your timezone

sure we can add Hala Events as well. Or even Avlis events if you want.
