Login Failed

I cannot log in with my character because it says "Invalid Character: Your character has too many feats". Help!

Please try logging in again. I triggered a reset of the servers to see if that will help clear things up. If it doesn't please let us know, and someone with Vault access will need to look at your PC. Also, can you explain what was the last thing that you did prior to logging off when you were last logged in correctly?

FWIW, I have a character that hasn't been able to log in due to an "invalid skill" or something; I posted a bug report on the bug tracker about it.

I was selling items in town. I did just level in that session too. I also have an item that gives me an extra feat. I just leveled to 20. I think that maybe the item giving me an extra feat might have triggered it? Not sure.

*edit* It worked. I can now log in. Thanks!

I just got the invalid character error again, "This character is invalid: FAIL: Illegal skill found for class 6: 27". It's in the bug tracker as resolved; what ought I do?

Been trying every so often ever since, and keep getting the same error message, frozen, and booted. There are a few seconds between login and freezing though, so slowly hobbling my way back towards the Ysgard portal.

By process of elimination, I believe that skill 27 must be "Ride"; don't know what class 6 is, though.

My only suggestion would be to see if Hala could undominate your PC, and portal back over to Overwrite .bic file in our server vault. Shot me a PM, with GSID, and PC name, and we can discuss this further in private.

The problem may have worn off! *crosses fingers* I logged in to do my daily hobble and didn't get the error message or booted! (Checking the bug report, I see that I first encountered it last year in late December... you don't suppose it's a seasonal thing?)

I've personally never heard of anything like that... But... If its working now, let's see where it goes from here.
