Killing NPCs

Post by eclipse » Tue Jul 10, 2007 12:24 pm

Since the NPCs can't report back the happening and no way to defend them self properly, is it right to kill NPCs around the Town or Heroes Walk while there are no DMs or other players looking at, or in general to kill any NPCs?

Since most NPCs are low level, easy to kill and do not represent the population in that area. Therefore it makes no sense IG to go and kill all NPCs around just because you think you are "evil". There are guards and hundreds or even thousands of people around...and nope..your PC is not a super hero to kill a whole city.......

Correct way is to contact a DM to watch over that attack. And maybe those attackers get a chance to see their god.

or short:

NO!

Thank you Kaz. I have always found this the most cheesy way to prove an evil character. It also created an inconvenience for he other players as many of the NPC's are necessary for quests. If you want a true test of killing an NPC try someone like Suna. Evil is not represented by killing an NPC anymore than good is not killing them.
