help needed with a problem with nwn

Hi all, I am in need of some help please, I just installed windows 8 and reinstalled nwn, now when i log into a server apart from the people everything else is as white as snow and the server is very slow, if anyone can help i would be most grateful:)

What video card? Have you got the newest drivers? I find that the drivers will make a huge different. Even in ping times which absolutely sounds ridiculous, but it does.

thanks just updated drivers but no good will try a reinstall of hacks

which video card is it?
White areas are normally a Video card or driver issue.

I saw a response of the Hala boards that you may need to find an older version of your video drivers.

I have had this issue before. it is 100% your graphics driver. With new cards you oftern need to instal an older driver to get NWN working. It runs ok on intel intergrated graphics cards though (only ok mind you)
If you are up for it, one trick is to install a virtual XP on yoursystem and run NWN on that, with older drivers. That way you can still run all your flash bang games too.
