Ok, gang, Gray and I would like to hear from you all what you would like to do re: the plot.

Because of the server's being down, we all collectively lost Friday and Saturday's in-game times. We (and you) have a lot of stuff that should happen before tonight's town council. Now, the time was picked by SoulKey in order for her to be involved as well. It was one that also happened to work for the other six of us who had to be there. However, even if the servers were to come up right now, we're concerned we don't have enough time to respond to everyone as well as launch the plot related events that also needed to have happened.

What would everyone like to do?

One idea was to "time capsule" everything from the arrest forward and have it not have happened yet, and "restart" whenever we all can pick the next time we are all available.

Another idea was to try and continue forward via posts and PM's instead of IG, and maybe have the town council meeting on IRC?

A third idea was to take back the release and just keep everyone in jail until the servers are up, with the down-time not being expressed in game time... aka, for game time, we would re-start up again on "friday" morning: only one night would have passed in game. This is gray's and my vote because of things that were supposed to have happened at the jail that obviously have not. In other words, it would be up the servers as to when we pick up, but then we can move forward in "real" time and not have things so rushed.

What do you all think? If you don't have any preference, you can note that too please. 8)

Its up to you guys. If you need Raven to stay jailed for another week thats fine. I'll go find other stuff to do for the week. (maybe make an alt or something) I'm also fine with IRC rp, though it makes it hard to do stuff like go crazy and attack guards when Raven looses it.

IRC would be fine, waiting would be fine, but I'd prefer not to "time capsule" anything, it makes it so difficult to RP things when we're moving back and forth in time and I have to remind myself that things I'd like to react to have not happened yet.

After hearing from all of you on IRC, here's what we are proposing:

We'll edit the "in jail" thread. No one has yet been released. Please consider IG that only ONE night has passed in the jail for now.

When the server's come back up (whenever that is), we will start our original plans "as if" it was "the next" morning.

Please do not RP the extended days/time frame while the servers are down as IC time.

I'll get with all involved for a new time for the city council meeting. Please consider that "new" time to not really have changed in game, as the reason to move it is purely OOC.

If it ends up taking a few extra days then originally planned to work everything out IG, please be assured everyone will be adequately rewarded.

Side note: PLEASE BE SURE to CC Grayking and Me on ALL PM's about this plot. I've given him copies of what has been sent to date. Thanks. 8)

Please put a hold on any additional actions/PMs/ messages/etc .. until the server's come back up. As soon as they do, we will reply to everyone's existing PM's with a proper note on time line, "reopen" the jail thread for "the next day," and let everyone know to send the next round of actions. ... that way we have time to reply, we all stay in sync, and we don't have any IC wrinkles/confusion with the timeline.
