lol thanks guys. I should give you a big pile of sketches again, I've just been putting everything on my tumblr artblog so this thread has been neglected. Currently have two jobs too, I'm also writing the 3D game design curriculum for iD Tech, which uses NWN2, which hilariously means that I get paid to make areas for a job. My course is being taught in beta camp really, really soon and then I'll have to make revisions.
Have some NWN2 stuff, starring my test character, Priscilla McSnootypants the half-orc bard.
Shoreline. Made for terrain lesson.
Shoreline. The trees in NWN2 are cooler than NWN1, I will give it that.
Exciting ruins in which the player gets attacked by wolves for the lesson on encounters.
Lava pool that glows and animates: easy in NWN1, pain in the butt in NWN2. Made for lighting lesson.
Waterfalls: easy in NWN1, pain in the butt in NWN2. This is a common theme. Made for "gestalt" lesson on using placeables, terrain, effects, and sound together.
Setting up a camera for the waterfall.
Placeables are scaleable, though, I wish we could do that in NWN1.
Unfortunately, NWN2 is not as cool as NWN1, so me being a ridiculous expert at this piece of software does not benefit Arkaz at all.

In NWN2, at level 10, RDDs don't get wings. Level 6 PMs don't get skeletal arms. And if you take off all your character's armor, they are clothed from neck to toes, including gloves.
So yeah.
I'll dig up some pictures to post later, I have a lot I need to get done today.
Bonus: the "what not to do" image.
