Server Problems

As much as I would have liked to finish the event tonight with all of you, my neverwinter nights decided to tell me I can't log into any server at all after I crashed. Just when the juicy parts started to show I'm still trying to log in with low expectations..

Update..

After I crashed last night, I had to restart my computer and normally everything would still be good to go. This time, and every other time after so far, I get a message telling me "attempting to join internet game... connection to server has failed.. server timed out". When attempting to log in on my computer, my history list doesn't even load, but when I try with my brother's computer, the history list loads, and I can actually make it to character selection. If anyone could help me out with this, that would be great, because it seems like a problem on my end and I have no idea where to start..

It sounds like the game corrupted when you crashed. Going to have to reinstall.

I've had this problem and didn't have to reinstall. I "repaired" my internet connection several times, reset the modem, and shut down/restarted. I would suggest turning off the computer, unplugging the modem, and going to make tea or something. Wait maybe 5-10 minutes, then turn on the modem and computer again. Repair your internet connection and clear any caches you might have. THEN try opening NWN again.

Eh... I reinstalled (for a second time after making this post and reading the reply) and now I'm back in action. Thanks! I'll keep this for future reference though.
