I was one of the people who felt bad due to a sense of having failed everyone with buffing. I dislike missing people for buffs, and when we started moving I thought we were done. I was honestly was unaware that there was still conversation going. I always try to buff everyone as best I could (without putting my own neck on the line with lack of buffs). I'm just weird though. I felt very bad that I couldn't give see invis/true sight to everyone.

As for the party chat, I also felt like I was to blame for not suggesting that everyone chat in party chat. We often do during events as it makes it easier for the DM to keep track of things but don't know why it escaped my mind yesterday.

If anyone got a sense that I was annoyed or irritated with them due to my stressing over the worry of buffs wearing off before we achieved our goal, I apologize. :)

I personally think it is funny that people expect buffs all the time. People aren't entitled to them. There are certainly several IC aspects that are taken into consideration. It depends on what type of character the mage is, what type of character is being buffed, etc. But strictly speaking OOC'ly, people aren't entitled to buffs. You shouldn't have to kiss ass OOC'ly to get them or get pissy OOC if you don't.

I've seen a ton of people that act as if they are offended because they didn't get buffs. Offended IC? That's fine. OOC? Quit it.

You people are all softies. If I missed buffing someone and they let me know, that's fine. Probably even toss in an apology for them. If they got uspet over it, I'd probably tell em to shove it. :P But really, you aren't failing or ruining everyone's fun by not buffing them. If their fun is seriously getting ruined because of it... well that's out of your hands. That or I am just an ass hole.

Probably the latter.
