New Rules and Policies

Post by ForsakenPlague » Fri Apr 01, 2011 1:58 pm

Hey boys and girls, guys and gals! The Arkaz team has made quite a few changes behind the scenes in the past months-hak updates, lore and crafting additions, plot preparations and more!

In the spirit of progress, I'm pleased to announce some new rules and policies which will further improve your experience on Arkaz!

Rule # 69. No sexual roleplay of any kind will be allowed on Arkaz.

What is sexual roleplay?
  • A. Emotes of a promiscuous nature, including but not limited to topics of underpants, suggestive expressions and physical contact(sitting on another's lap, holding hands).
    B. Situations where two characters are not clothed entirely.
    C. Roleplay where words like, "Underpants," are used, even if it's in another context entirely.
Policy on Experience - Non-native: Non-native player characters will be given an experience cap.
  • A. The cap will be according to a character's level, and will be considered FOIG information.
    B. This cap is to help discourage planar hopping to Arkaz for the sole purpose of plundering awesome dungeons and avoiding experience caps elsewhere.
    C. If you made your player character on another world, but play primarily on Arkaz, you may contact the Dm Staff to request an exception. This is not a 100% guarantee, so make sure your argument is solid!
Policy on Experience - Native: Native player characters will be given an experience cap based on the number of hours logged on Arkaz. You can check your number of hours via the player website linked here. http://server.arkaz.com:8080/player/
  • A. The cap is considered FOIG information.
    B. To avoid idle logging so as to bank hours, an automatic boot system of 10 minutes will be implemented effective immediately. This boot system requires your player character to move every ten(10) Real Life minutes. Talking, inventory management and spell-book arrangement do not count.
Note: these new policies and rules will be effective at 12:01 A.M. Eastern, April 2nd, 2011.
