Game Server Down

Seems I'm getting a Kernel Panic on the DB Server.

I'm looking into that now..but it might be a bit.

*beats head on desk* okay looks like I'll be rebuilding the linux server...I'm going to see if I can boot from a cd and grab the DB so I can bring up the test DB and make it the prod for now.

If so that's good...if not then we'll ahve to wait for me to rebuild the server.

I'll keep everyone posted.

sorry hosting company was doing work last night and the forums went down...bad timing.

Okay the backup DB was started. Good news was I was able to mount the drive with the db on it and get the running copy so the DB is current.

I'll work today on rebuilding the db server.

okay DBserver is back...had to replace a controller and a scsi drive...One of these days someone will have to tell me why scsi drives still cost more then most cars.

stupid windows..it hung rebooting now
