I am going to try my best to address a few concerns here --

If we refer to the original way Bioware wrote this spell, it can allow a maximum of 10d4 int drop. Or maximized, -40 to INT. This will leave someone's spellbook completely wipe as well, even after the affect has worn off, unless they happen to have incredibly high INT (50+). While perhaps not in high numbers, there are level 40 NPCs and PCs out there so there's equal cause to petition to any world which uses this implementation also.

As was stated, we are using the 3.0 SRD as the starting point for things. This is exactly how it s done for sake of reference:

There are several ways to become immune to the effects. Items which offer immunity to ability drains, spells which give immunity to mind affecting spells, spells which give immunity to ability drains (although this is more a cleric domain), and of course, passing the will save.

I do understand the concerns with the spellbook, and something we will take into account and try to address as there are other ways to apply the spell without requiring the ability drop.

On the whole, I'd actually be surprised if anyone ever ran into this spell while playing.

Lets calm down here a little guys.

Comments have been noted, and we're discussing teamside various other options for Feeblemind.

Please keep the comments constructive here

Test server is back up now that I'm back home. Until I get into the habit of putting it up, it'll be sporadic. Feel free to PM me and smack me on the back of the head to remind me (virtually, that is).
