I will be bring the Servers down today to allow for some system upgrades. Mainly the following 2 upgrades
on the DB server I'm replacing the DD3 standalone tape drive with a Sony SDT-9000 drive and a 8 tape autochanger. This will keep me from forgetting to swap the tape everyday...and for those days I"m out of town.
I'm also adding 2 more GB of memory to the main vmware server.
This outage will probably be for several hours and will start at 1pm this afternoon.

changes were done. The next major upgrade will be the patching on the DB server. It's currently running Redhat EL4 Update 5 and I need to apply the current update and security patches. I'll schedule that in a few weeks.
