CvC is an acronym for Character vs Character
PvP is an acronym for Player vs Player

Overview

Character vs Character is most commonly used to describe the action of one character engaging in combat with another. It may also include, but may not be limited to, the use of any spells which harm or negatively effect another character (ie: hold person), Psionics, the use of familiars or possessed NPCs to engage the character combat, or traps.

There is one major rule for CvC. You MUST set hostile before attacking, so familiars, summons and spells work correctly. This is an engine issue.

Because Arkaz is a roleplaying world, you should only attack a character if there is a valid in character reason to do so. Player vs Player (PvP) actions are strictly forbidden and there is no exception to this rule. Attacking a character solely because you have differences with the player would be classed as PvP. It is a form of griefing which can result in Vault Jailing, or banning.
