History
Malik claims to come from Takaii on the plane of Ysgardin the time before it moved to Hades. He does not go into any great detail about this part of his life. When Takaii moved, Malik followed.
In Hades he developed his necromantic interests further and after an encounter with a Lich he now follows the path of the Pale Master. He would travel frequently between Ysgard and Hades, but recently he has remained on Ysgard.
He visits the isles from time to time and usually stays a while when he does. He has joined the Nuvar Mage School and has a cottage just out of Nuvar
Personality
Malik can be charming and quite pleasant when he puts his mind to it. He can turn quite nasty though and becomes arrogant and abusive. He certainly isn’t shy about telling someone that they are a waste of his time.
He has a high opinion of himself and has little time for those with no worth. Malik can usually be trusted to keep his word as he values this highly. He shows a willingness to work with others to achieve his goals, what ever machinations he is engaging in.
After a while though people do tend to irritate them. He seems more at ease with the dead than the living.
Appearance
On close inspection his armour and shield are of celestial design but they have been heavily modified and bear little resemblance to their original form. His shield seems to be possessed by some sort of malevolent presence and taunts those who pay attention to it. Malik’s armor reveals that he has a skeletal arm. He obviously has no problem with this, or in telling people that he is a necromancer.
