History
Da’emona, or as she prefers to be called, Dae started her life in the city of Mikona during the onset of the war. She constantly struggled alone to hone and perfect her skills. Unlike most of her race of Ghost Elves she never learned wizardry, to the dismay of both her parents. Instead she was drawn to a monk order who followed O’Ma due to her fixation of a young monk named Emanual. Knowing how frail she was he never trained her in the martial arts but directed the growth of her mind. She only left the monistary after his death and still holds a place in her heart for this lost love.
In Mikona she witnessed a series of murders by a man she found out was Gortwog. He and his companions chased her around Mikona for several months till she fled to Elysia to escape death. To this day she considers this act to be the one that shaped her future.
In Elysia she happened upon a shop in the Artisans District run by Morgoth and Shawna SorBens where she learned to make bandages and started to follow her current passion of tailoring. They both immediately loved the little girl and observed her passion for tailoring. They and a dwarf named Flint Holden took her under their protective wings and guided her through the turmoil of the day. Morgoth soon requested that she become his apprentice after he had refused requests from others to take them as his apprentice. She was given a key to the shop and gained full access to all the materials needed to tailor. All three of these people disappeared from her life at the time the portal from Rockholm died and she believes the SorBens to be trapped off world. She continues to maintain the secrets of tailoring to this day as it was a promise she made to them from which she was never released.
During her time in Elysia she made several friends and was introduced to a monk by the name of Riva who took her as his student in the Order of the Dragon. Before retiring from the order she reached the position of Head of the Dragon Guard within the order. Part of the initiation required a branding of the image of a dragon onto her arm. Her husband at that time was furious that she had marred herself but she wore the brand with pride. To this day the brand in still on her right bicep and if she keeps it hidden from view.
During a time of turmoil of friends she found herself praying less and less to O’Ma and more frequently at the temples of Dru’el and Cha'reth. Two of the priestesses of Cha'reth had seen her there often and knew long before she that he would gather Dae into his fold. The time did eventually come and she was accepted into the group with welcome arms. Since those days she has seen several of the faithful of Cha'reth disappear, either from retirement from active duty, disappear from sight or in several cases death. She remains devoutly religious to and can often be found in prayer to her god no matter the world she visits.
Da’emona had two students during her life on Avlis. One a monk by the name of Tasi and the other a cleric by the name of Goldie. Both eventually turned from the light and plunged into darkness for which she holds herself responsible. Their turning from the light was due to the influence of another trying to subvert them. Tasi, before her death started to make her way back to the light which lightened her heart and strengthened her faith. A chance meeting informed her that Goldie had left Avlis and traveled to the world of Hala with her husband. With the assistance of Nawen Amakiir she traveled to Hala in search of Goldie. There she met a few of the Amazons to whom Nawen still held membership. As they talked about the fire a man approached her. She knew him to be familiar but could not place him at the time. He however knew her quite well by observation on Avlis. Two of his closest friends were Gainan and Aria who were very close to her also. He knew she could be trusted and told her that he was the one who guided Goldie to another world and agreed to take her to Goldie.
She met Goldie in the town of Nuvar soon after and it became apparent that something was changing in her once removed from the dark influence of her husband. Soon Goldie embraced a local goddess and the long trip from darkness began. Slowly at first but at an ever increasing pace. As Goldie’s husband rarely visited Dae noticed how alone and abandoned the poor woman felt, particularly as she was with child. The mayor of Nuvar drew up papers for a formal adoption of Goldie by her. One of her fondest wishes was granted as she had a family. Not long after Noor’s birth Goldie died. She knew Noor was draining her life force but did not care. She made Dae vow to not let anyone stop this process as Noor rapidly aged. Like Cha'reth gave his life to renew that of his brother, Goldie gave hers to her daughter. Dae’s heart jumps each time she hears the name Grandma, as Noor calls her. She is also the mother-in-law of the infamous Dameon.
She constantly runs from world to world between responsibilities to family on Arkaz and those of the Healers.
