History

Xsaiav'lairnn, or 'Myst', arrived on the isles of Nuvar what seems to him like very recently. He is an offworlder, and claims to have arrived by a 'mistake' in a portal experiment he was attempting, which seems believable enough given how many times he's been seen both experimenting, (failing,) and having portal trouble.

Myst was generally fairly vague about his past before Nuvar, but it seems pretty important to him that he had a previous power which is now missing. Despite that, he had quickly taken up new studies as a wizard in the Nuvar Magic school, and was last known to be at the apprentice level. He kept the fact of Ronan Ceril being his mentor rather quiet, and only a select few have been told. He is very interested about learning all he can about whatever he can get his hands on, but has taken a liking to death spells, large, area-effecting explosive spells, as well as negative energy in general. His control with these spells, however, is sometimes questionable.

Myst had a number of close friends, and was often seen with his raven familiar, Vathen, when they aren't around. He is typically talkative and friendly when in the presence of others, and almost always has a rather playful tone. But as a whole, he is an introvert, and finds himself most at home in a quiet library surrounded by a pile of books and noting down what he considers to be interesting information.

For a while, he was seen making frequent trips between planes, mainly to and from Avlis to conduct various studies. But lately, he has seemed to disappear from the isles entirely, and hasn't been seen for quite some time. His last known trip over was when he was asking about Zachary Jor'dre, but that too was at least a year or more ago.

Appearance

Xsaiav'lairnn is seen almost all the time with a sleepy grin on his face. His teal, heavily golden flecked eyes generally always look tired, and his pale skin in combination with this can give him somewhat of a sickly appearance if his smile ever fades. Myst is very tall for an elf in this world, coming in close to around 5'11" or 6' even. He's quite slim, but somewhat fit as much as someone who travels a lot on their own would be. His expressions other than smiles are very subtle, slight things that at times may be difficult to read, or simply look impassive. He has a mostly 'egg shaped' face, with a somewhat long, roman-esque nose that points down a bit, and mid-dark, typically messy, fine silver hair that reaches about chin level, and flips out in the back.

He is always wearing long dark robes with golden accents, generally littered with foreign symbols and what look like possibly runes. There is a stylized 'bird' like motif that seems to reoccur multiple times on all of his clothing. He also tends to wear very tall, almost knee high boots, and seems very adamant about keeping covered as much as possible. His cloak, like the rest of his clothing, is dark with golden motifs covering its entirety.

Beneath all his clothing, his body is heavily tattooed, and almost looks something like several spell circles came together and exploded all over him in black, gold, and red. However, he keeps nearly all of this hidden, and the only traces usually visible are some red markings on his hands, and some red markings around his eyes. He also wears 2 earrings in his right ear.

Xsaiav'lairnn is well spoken, but has a notable, probably 'elven' accent when talking in Common.
