IC is an acronym for In Character
IG is an acronym for In Game
NPC is an acronym for Non Player Characters
Overview
In Character, or IC, is used to describe information that is known to the character as well as the player.
This knowledge is in fact knowledge gained by the character in game and should always be treated that way. This knowledge is aquired through role play, IG research and normal interaction between your character in NPCs.
