Upgrading to NWN 1.69
If you are using an English version of NWN, you can update normally from the in-game prompt, the game launcher, or by using the Critical Rebuild linked below. If not, please read the instructions below. With thanks to Higher Ground for these upgrade details for those not using the English version of NWN 1.69.
English
If you are not using an English version of NWN, Bioware has not yet released localized patches for 1.69. You will have to perform a couple of extra steps, and you will be upgraded to the English version of 1.69. First, download the following file: dialog_168_en.tlk. Rename this file to dialog.tlk and place it in the root directory of your NWN installation (not the tlk directory), overwriting the existing dialog.tlk file there.
Then, download the NWN/HotU English 1.69 Critical Rebuild and install it. You will then be upgraded to NWN 1.69 English.

Englische Versionen von NWN können normal über die NWN Update Funktion, oder mit dem Critical Rebuild (Link weiter unten) geupdatet werden.
Für die anderen Sprachen von NWN hat Bioware bis jetzt noch keinen übersetzten 1.69 Patch bereitgestellt. Deshalb muss man ein paar extra Schritte durchführen und hat nach dem Update auf 1.69 englische Texte im Spiel. Als erstes muss man folgende Datei herunterladen: dialog_168_en.tlk. Diese muss man dann in dialog.tlk umbenennen und in das Haupt-NWN-Verzeichnis kopieren (nicht in das tlk Verzeichnis). Eine existierende Datei selben Namens wird dabei überschrieben.
Danach muss man den NWN/HotU English 1.69 Critical Rebuild herunterladen und installieren, der dann NWN auf 1.69 englisch updatet.

Si usted está utilizando una versión inglesa de NWN, puede actualizar normalmente desde el juego mediante el mensaje de aviso, el lanzador del mismo, o usando la “Critical Rebuild” (reconstrucción crítica) cuyo link es ofrecido más adelante.
Si no está utilizando una versión inglesa de NWN, Bioware todavía no ha liberado los parches específicos de otros idiomas para 1.69. Deberá seguir algunos pasos adicionales y se actualizará a la versión inglesa de NWN 1.69. Primero, descargue el siguiente archivo: dialog_168_en.tlk.
