The most powerful of all the Evil gods of Arkaz made a foolish mistake. He trusted his daughter. With that trust, he created his own downfall.

The true origins of Helthor are unknown, but that has not stopped the rumors. Some say he was a mortal Necromancer who accumulated souls and used them to ascend. Others claim he was promoted into the Arkaz pantheon only by using an artifact of great power.
  
However, no one knows he is dead ((This means -all- players start without having this knowledge)). On appearance, it seem Helthor is merely weakened greatly. His Sphere is no longer Death, but Murder.

As a whole, the followers of Helthor resents the church of Valshar. However, Followers of Helthor that shows great potential in cunning, may be recruited by the inner circle of the Church of Valshar to reveal the truth and enlightenment of their god.
 
 
 
Of course... that often means the Church of Helthor aren't left with the brightest.
